Quy trình thực hiện một bộ phim.
February 13th, 2002 Tài liệuLàm film mà viết cụ thể ra cũng mất ít nhất vài chục trang A4 vì nó lắm công đoạn nhiêu khê lắm, coi générique thấy số người tham gia là biết, đặc biệt là nhìn générique cũng có thể đoán sơ được các công đoạn làm film.
Một bộ film sống được hay không tùy thuộc nhiều yếu tố. Film bắt đầu từ một ý tưởng, hoặc của scénariste , hoặc producteur hoặc réalisateur (đạo diễn) hoặc ai đó, được scénariste phác thảo và hoàn thiện phần hồn qua scénario , sau đó được dàn dựng bởi réalisateur, thông qua một producteur. Producteur là người chịu trách nhiệm về tài chính cho việc làm film, các công tác logistique (hậu cần). Film làm xong phải giới thiệu cho giới distributeur , chính họ là người chịu trách nhiệm đưa film tới người xem.
Scénario do scénariste viết, thường gồm 2 phần, một là bsynopsis tóm tắt lại nội dung chính của kịch bản, để bước đầu đưa cho réalisateur và producteur đọc, nếu họ đồng ý thì sẽ đọc tiếp scénario chính. Bản này viết cụ thể chia ra thành từng cảnh film: thời gian, địa điểm, nhân vật, hành động, diễn biến tâm lý và lời thoại. Viết cụ thể để đạo diễn theo đó mà chỉ đạo, diễn viên theo đó mà đóng chứ không bay bướm như ba cái tiểu thuyết văn học, đọc vào chẳng biết đóng ra sao! Mấy cái scénario này bán đầy ở bookstore, nếu rảnh thì ra kiếm một cuốn về đọc.

PADUA HIGH PARKING LOT – DAY
KAT STRATFORD, eighteen, pretty — but trying hard not to be
— in a baggy granny dress and glasses, balances a cup of
coffee and a backpack as she climbs out of her battered,
baby blue ’75 Dodge Dart.
A stray SKATEBOARD clips her, causing her to stumble and
spill her coffee, as well as the contents of her backpack.
The young RIDER dashes over to help, trembling when he sees
who his board has hit.
RIDER
Hey — sorry.
Cowering in fear, he attempts to scoop up her scattered
belongings.
KAT
Leave it
He persists.
KAT (continuing)
I said, leave it!
She grabs his skateboard and uses it to SHOVE him against a
car, skateboard tip to his throat. He whimpers pitifully
and she lets him go. A path clears for her as she marches
through a pack of fearful students and SLAMS open the door,
entering school.
INT. GIRLS’ ROOM – DAY
BIANCA STRATFORD, a beautiful sophomore, stands facing the
mirror, applying lipstick. Her less extraordinary, but
still cute friend, CHASTITY stands next to her.
BIANCA
Did you change your hair?
CHASTITY
No.
BIANCA
You might wanna think about it
Leave the girls’ room and enter the hallway.
HALLWAY – DAY- CONTINUOUS
Bianca is immediately greeted by an admiring crowd, both

CUT TO:
INT. L STREET BAR & GRILLE, SOUTH BOSTON — EVENING
The bar is dirty, more than a little run down. If there is
ever a cook on duty, he’s not here now. As we pan across
several empty tables, we can almost smell the odor of last
nights beer and crushed pretzels on the floor.
CHUCKIE
Oh my God, I got the most fucked up
thing I been meanin’ to tell you.
As the camera rises, we find FOUR YOUNG MEN seated around a
table near the back of the bar.
ALL
Oh Jesus. Here we go.
The guy holding court is CHUCKIE SULLIVAN, 20, and the largest
of the bunch. He is loud, boisterous, a born entertainer.
Next to him is WILL HUNTING, 20, handsome and confident, a
soft-spoken leader. On Will’s right sits BILLY MCBRIDE, 22,
heavy, quiet, someone you definitely wouldn’t want to tangle
with. Finally there is MORGAN O’MALLY, 19, smaller than the
other guys. Wiry and anxious, Morgan listens to Chuckie’s
horror stories with eager disgust.
All four boys speak with thick Boston accents. This is a rough,
working class Irish neighborhood and these boys are its product.
CHUCKIE
You guys know my cousin Mikey Sullivan?
ALL
Yeah.
CHUCKIE
Well you know how he loves animals
right? Anyway, last week he’s drivin’
home…
(laughs)
ALL
What? Come on!
CHUCKIE

Bây giờ nói thêm một chút về production.. Bản phân cảnh thì thường phải do đạo diễn và scénariste hợp tác lại làm dựa trên scénario có chỉnh sửa chút đỉnh. Khi scénario được đưa qua tay réalisateur, thường hai người này sẽ cùng làm việc với nhau để hoàn thành các sequence hay bảng phân cảnh cho từng scène. Mỗi scène sẽ xác định dàn dựng ở đâu: studio hay quay ngoại cảnh (extérieur), ngày hay đêm. Cảnh quay sẽ dựng như thế nào
Công việc thường bắt đầu bằng tìm casting cho film. Thường có một directeur de casting đứng ra lo việc này, các vai chính thì réalisateur hay tham gia vào việc tuyển chọn. Casting thì producteur phải bàn với đạo diễn, một số vai chính có thể chọn diễn viên có sẵn, một số vai sẽ đăng báo, TV tìm diễn viên theo một số tiêu chuẩn nhất định, cái này làm rầm rộ lắm vì số người khóai đóng film hơi bị nhiều, giống chị em trong MVB vậy đó.
Một ví dụ về quảng cáo tìm diễn viên:

Sau đó chuẩn bị về film trường gồm các cảnh quay tại studio và các cảnh quay bên ngoài, trong đó producteur phải tìm ra các địa điểm đó, thương lượng với các bên liên quan như chủ nhà, cảnh sát
để được phép tiến hành quay film. Tiếp theo là chuẩn bị về décor, trang phục, đạo cụ
thường thì mấy thứ này phải thuê hết, trừ các nhà sản xuất lớn như Columbia thì mới có sẵn còn ngoài ra thì từ studio cho đến máy quay film, đèn chiếu, máy phát điện, ghế đạo diễn
đều thuê hết. Luôn luôn có các công ty cho thuê từ A Z, mỗi lần quay film thì phải thuê xe chở, quay một cảnh trung trung thì tốn ít nhất cũng 3 xe tải!
Sau khi film quay xong thì tới gian đoạn hậu kỳ
Xong giai đoạn sản xuất thì tới distribution, phải chuẩn bị về affiche, trailer, press release
mà ba cái này thường cũng thuê làm nốt.

Muốn khai thác một bộ film phải mua các quyền (droit) sau: Quyền khai thác tại rạp (droit de salle), quyền khai thác Vidéo, DVD, quyền khai thác trên truyền hình và quyền về các sản phẩm kèm theo (produit dérivé). Tùy từng film mà distributeur quyết định sẽ mua những quyền nào. Kế đến họ sẽ thực hiện chiến dịch quảng cáo trên các phương tiện truyền thông, affiche, paneau, web site… sau đó quyết định thời gian và rạp chiếu, số copie cho mỗi rạp (exploitateur). Sau khi chiếu tại rạp thì 6 tháng hay lâu hoặc ít hơn, film sẽ xuất hiện trong mạng lưới vidéo, DVD, thường thì càng ít ăn khách càng được chuyển thành vidéo, DVD sớm. 1, 2 hay 3 năm sau film mới được chiếu trên TV tùy quy định của từng nước, tùy Hợp đồng nguyên tắc mà các kênh truyền hình ký với cơ quan phụ trách truyền thông của chính phủ.
Nguồn tài chính cho một film đến từ nhiều nguồn: nhà sản xuất, các kênh truyền hình dưới hình thức copropriétaire (đồng sở hữu), tài trợ của chính phủ và các tổ chức phi chính phủ…
Phải nói thế này: be free có cốt truyện hay và neo đã phóng tác thành một kịch bản đặc sắc

scénariste : screenwriter hay script writer tuy nhiên screenplay là kịch bản thuần về mô tả hơn còn script thì nghiêng về kỹ thuật hơn, có thể coi là bản phân cảnh, với hướng dẫn cụ thể về film hơn, thường gồm 2 cột, một cột là nội dung về hình ảnh, cột kia gồm đối thoại và các chỉ dẫn về tiếng động. Script chia làm nhiều sequence, mỗi sequence có cùng một thời gian, không gian và tuyến kịch, tuy nhiên sequence có thể chuyển từ không gian này sang không gian khác nhưng vẫn giữ nguyên tuyến kịch, có nghĩa là có thể chuyển qua nhiều scene khác nhau. Một scene gồm một hay nhiều shot, được thực hiện cùng một ánh sáng, một décor, cùng một thời điểm và cùng một sự liền lạc về tuyến kịch. Thường thì sequence và scene là một. Còn shot là một lần quay kể từ lúc bắt đầu quay đến lúc kết thúc một lần quay, mô tả một chuyển động về hình ảnh, nói dể hiểu hơn là từ lúc đạo diễn hô diễn cho đến khi hô cắt. Thường thì trong các script có cả storyboard.
producteur : producer là người coi chung, còn executive producer là người chỉ chịu trách nhiệm về mặt thực hiện film thôi, không dính dáng gì tới tài chính. Trong một số studio lớn của Mỹ có chức danh executive hay senior executive chỉ trưởng bộ phận chuyên giám sát công việc của nhiều producer và kiểm soát việc thực hiện vài chục film mỗi năm.
réalisateur : director hoặc film-maker
scénario : thường dùng screenplay hoặc script hơn là scenario
distributeur : distributor hay releaser
synopsis : synopsis, còn plot là cốt truyện dùng để chỉ một chuỗi các sự kiện tạo thành tính kịch cho film.
logistique : logistics là hậu cần, lo các thứ cần thiết cho việc thực hiện film như đạo cụ, vận chuyển, chuẩn bị thủ tục để được phép quay film ngoài studio còn hậu kỳ là post production
laboratoire : laboratory hay lab, là các công ty chuyên lo một số công việc về xử lý film trong gia đoạn hậu kỳ như tráng film (developing, processing), in film (printing) từ âm bản (negative) hay dương bản (positive) sang dương bản, các special effect một số hãng film lớn thì các công việc post production được thực hiện trong nội bộ, có lẽ tại các workshop như neo bảo.
